RESIDENCY

QUARTET IN RESIDENCE Great news! The Astaria String Quartet is now the official 'Quartet in Residence' at Huntingdon Hall in Worcester UK. We now have the option of a much bigger rehearsal and recording space and you will see more publicity about us both in the Worcester Live brochure, as well as information about us in and around Huntingdon Hall itself. We also will be able to sell tickets for our Chamber Music @ Worcester Festival through the Huntingdon Hall Box Office. In addition we are delighted to be able to present an annual recital promoted by Huntingdon Hall. This will be in association with education and outreach work as well as community projects. Watch this space!

You choose the programme, submit them by email or post and hey presto! we will play your choices of music.  Hopefully you will let us know why a composition is special to you, which we will then weave into our introduction to the music. CHAMBER MUSIC @ WORCESTER Look out for the  'Chamber Music @ Worcester' Festival. This will take place annually in October with the inaugural Concert taking place on October the 3rd. 2010 at St. Oswald's Church in Worcester at 7:00 PM. We will expand this into an an exciting two day Event in 2011. Full details will be published on our Site in the near future.

BOUGHTON FESTIVAL

INVITATION Great news, the Astaria Quartet where invited to perform at the 2010 Rutland Boughton Music Festival. Both Quartets by Rutland Boughton were featured on the programme.
